I took the car back to a different Sears, Sears of Willow Grove (since I had moved) and they agreed to replace the parts under warranty (as per Sears warranty stating that any Sears will warranty the work). Upon having the work done, I was told that the transmission is at fault and the noise remains after a new axle. I asked if they at least did the alignment and they responded that they did. I got the car back and it still did not go straight, the noise remained, and they were not able to provide the alignment specs paperwork.

Avoid at all costs, my car is in the junk yard because of careless work that lead to a massive failure just a few hundred miles later (despite their snapshot check passing on everything).

Liars and theifs trust me don’t go there! They will say and do anything to make money off you even if you don’t really need it. Plus cost you more to have everything they touched done right. Right mike

In the end, I would not trust anything any Sears does, even if it’s for free. They don’t stand behind their work and they don’t do it right. Their prices are also not any cheaper than a real mechanic. Let the reviews do the talking, I am not the only one with a horrible experience.

I had an axle snap so the car would not move. I called Sears of Rockaway and asked if I could tow the car to them, would they be able to fix it. They answered "Yes" over the phone so I towed my car over to them.

Mike, the manager was very unhelpful. Basically told me "That sucks but we'll service your new car". Also, he was extremely rude and interrupted me multiple times over the phone while I was speaking.

I took the car back to the same place that initially diagnosed the failing axle. I was told that the axle was the same exact one and it was not swapped out which they were able to tell by the sticker the shop had put in the axle. I called Sears Willow Grove who refused to put another axle and refused to believe that the work was not done. Since I had a 12-hour drive coming up in 2 days, I paid my mechanic by work to replace the axle and align the car. $250 later (the second time I paid), the car makes no noise and goes completely straight, even after the 12-hour drive.

Made an apt for an oil change and they called that day and said they were running 3-4 behind and I would have to reschedule. 3- hours behind is crazy!! so I make the apt for the next day. When I get there they tell me they are not doing oil changes that day...BullSH@# - I have an appt. They said "fine I can fit you in". Fit me in I scheduled an appointment!!! He was rude. then he said it would be 1 1/2 hours...for an oil change??? He blamed his "older, slower mechanics". This place really sucks will never go there for anything!!

I just scheduled an appointment online. My vehicle takes blend oil. They called me and told me it only takes synthetic and tried to pressure me into buying into a $60 oil change I didn't need. Safe to say I cancelled.

EDIT (In response to Sears):

As many others have stated, the Indian male working is the rudest employee I have ever come in contact with. Upon getting my car there, he came outside yelling (literally yelling) if my car was drivable. I tried to respond that it rolls but does not drive however I was continuously interrupted. After about a minute of him yelling the same thing at me, a second employee came out and said that we could roll the car into the shop, the exact same thing I was trying to explain to him.

I called Sears Willow Grove and spoke to the manager about the issue. She apologized, assured me the work was done, however told me that she could not do anything and I should contact the original Sears to get my money back. I contacted Sears Rockaway and the manager refuses to do anything about it. Despite Sears warranty policy, he claims that I should have gone back to Sears of Rockaway for warranty work and that he cannot warranty anything Sears of Willow Grove did. I explained that my car was not drivable and he responded that I should have towed it 2.5 hours back to Sears of Rockaway if I wanted a warranty, which goes against Sears warranty policy.

The attitude of the employees is worse than teenagers. What's worse, is that they don't back up their work. The low pay the employees make along with the lack of staff equates to a very unhappy workplace where the employees do not care about their work.

Now, I had Sears of Rockaway replace my axle and align the car. Ever since I got the work done, I had a rare but clicking sound from the axle and the car never went straight despite what the alignment numbers showed. About 2 months later, the clicking became prominent to the point it was consistent. A mechanic by my work raised the car up and showed me a failing/shaking axle.
