I have been going there for two ski trips each year for the past six years. I LOVE IT!!!
I recently stayed a week at Home Farms in Stowe, Vermont, one of the Sundance Vacation destinations. There are five one room cottages, which sleep up to four. They are nicely appointed and very quaint. There is a small kitchenette, with stove, microwave and toaster oven so that you can prepare meals if you like. It is located just north of Stowe and is very convenient to both down-hill and cross country skiing.
They will ruin your life... They will take your money and force you to stay at flea bag hotels.
I enjoyed my time in Ocean City at Sun Beach through Sundance Vacations. I went to the beach, the boardwalk and the pool. My accommodations were clean, checking in and out was easy, and the location was close proximity to the beach. While I got to use the parking spot included with my package, my sister had no problems finding on street parking nearby.
SCAM! They called me claiming I won a free 2-night hotel stay at select locations in the northeast, as a gift for their anniversary. All I had to do was travel to their place of business and listen to an hour-long lecture about the company. Afterwards, they sent me into a room with a team of salesmen to try and make me purchase a huge amount of time shares. After declining all their "one time only" offers, they sent me on my way with a certificate for two free hotel nights. All I had to do was book the days on their website and send in a deposit. My wife and I logged into their shoddy website and carefully chose our days. We were ecstatic about it all. About two weeks later, they called me saying our days weren't available and there were no guarantees we'd get a nearby hotel because it's only "a gift." This is after the salesman from the lecture claimed that this NEVER happens. They said they can only offer me a date of THEIR choosing at a lesser tier hotel. After a few back-and-forths with their customer service/management and explaining how much time I've wasted dealing with them, they were unwilling to negotiate. It's a shame too, because I initially felt they were an honest and value-driven company and was even discussing with my wife about dealing with them in the future. I guess this is their way of booking unused hotels; preying on random prospects, promising them the world, and getting them to hear a lecture and purchase from a high-pressure team of salesmen. If you win anything from this company, it's all a SCAM!
Our Sundance Vacation to Ocean City, NJ was great! Our condo, Sun Beach, was centrally located near the boardwalk, beach, stores, and restaurants. Our unit was clean and beautifully decorated in a shore theme. My four-year old said the best part of our vacation was swimming in the pool! This was our second trip to Sun Beach and we booked it this year because we had such a wonderful experience during our last vacation. We are looking forward to returning next year!
