When your pet feels good in a place and loves the staff their nothing more to say but to keep coming. The Groomers are definetly so friendly and great at their job.
Did not like the training. The trainer was very hard on some dogs he liked to grab their leash and actually hang them while they yelped. He did not like it if you were not harsh on your dog and he pretty much ignored us since we would not discipline our dog harshly by hanging her. We talked to them before enrolling our dog to make sure they could help us with the fact that she wants to play with all dogs she sees and they said they could help us but they didn't even try except to tell us she's out of control and we need to hang her by her collar and mind you she is already trained except for that one thing. To all we just came back from a 10 day vacation to Acadia NP with the dog and she was so amazingly well behaved it wasn't funny and that was to no help of pawsitive they didn't teach us or her anything she didn't already do. Stay away this training is not a positive experience by no means I would not even give them a one but you must put something there to post!
Every dog owner should take at least one class with John. He is truly an amazing person. Doesn't speak for the purpose of speaking. There is substance and he always clearly explains why he uses each technique.
I highly recommend Paws-itive, which specializes in dog training, notably for service dogs.
Great staff. Lots of class offerings. You walk out of Basic Obedience knowing how to correct your dog's behavior the right way. The training is really improving my puppy and he is the 4th dog I've brought here!
Excellent service, organic raw food is best quality available. I Zipcar once a month to Paws-itive Experience for raw meat from Brooklyn, and the overall cost, including travel is less per pound than any place at NYC.
Moreover, staff is very knowledgeable, caring animal lovers, down to earth and no-nonsense.
