ALDI is a great alternative to the usual grocery store chains. They carry mostly house brand products that are less expensive and are equal or better than national brands. We have tried products from all over the store and it is rare finding one that we wouldn't buy again.
They have recently remodeled & are better than ever. ALDI has always been a great company, but now they carry even more stock, more options, & the same excellent prices. The staff there are friendly & helpful. I've never had an issue. The remodeled store gives the store a bigger feeling & the aisles seem easier to navigate, although it wasn't a problem previously. Some things are organized in confusing ways, for example, different types of snacks might be placed in 3-4 different aisles. However, this isn't a problem for my family since we end up going through every aisle every time we shop. There is always something interesting and well-priced that you weren't looking for, but must have.
New layout with signs is great! We shop here at least once per week and save money.
I love this place. Great quality and really low prices. Looks really nice after the recent remodeling. Can have long lines during peak shopping times. Usually no more than two cashiers at one time.
Very disappointing. If you want only a few items, you have to wait in long lines. Often only one register open. They need self-checkout registers. I've left a few times because the checkouts are inefficient and a waste of my time for the minimal savings. Other Aldi's in NJ and PA are better stocked and more efficient. Might as well go to Shop-rite down the road where there are many check-outs, just as good pricing and better quality.
Staff is customer friendly and attentive to opening additional checkout lanes whenever it gets busy.
